Claude Thibaudeau

Claude’s enthusiasm and love of jewelry design can be directly attributed to his positive attitude, unique view of the world’s natural and man-made creations, and his philosophy of “every day surpassing what has been achieved yesterday”.

Jeff Cooper

Each Jeff Cooper piece is made one at a time, by hand, and examined through every step of the process - either David or Jeff Cooper will inspect each ring before it leaves the shop because they realize that every ring should be reflective of its wearer and the memories it symbolizes.

As David says, "to be able to capture all of that in a very refined, simply, and clean piece of jewelry - it's a passion and a pursuit." 40 years ago, Jeff Cooper started designing rings that exude timeless styling, taking what he knew to be beautiful and making it refined and precise.

Kifani

Once reserved for only the highest royalty, modern cut diamonds are now accessible to many.  Their aura of fascination is more difficult to achieve.  This realization inspired award winning jewelry designer, Tamara Rahaminov Goldfiner to seek ways of reawakening the ancient wonder conjured up by these rare and mysterious stones.

Her imagination, creativity, and sheer mastery of design produced a result that was breathtaking: a collection of polished rough diamonds – each distinct from any other – transformed into stunning jewelry with no two pieces alike.  She named her collection “Kifani,” which means “unique.”

In today’s world of traditional-cut stones, these stylish one-of-a-kind pieces are unlike any others.  Gems, in a veritable rainbow of colors, are hand-picked and creations are custom designed around them to enhance their natural beauty.  Each piece is sure to evoke exclamations of awe and the question, “Where can I get one of those?”  The only possible reply: “You can’t.  This one is uniquely for me.  It is Kifani.”

Michael B

In the early 1990’s, when gold was still king, Michael re-discovered an old friend, platinum, and transformed the jewelry industry forever.  The metal of royalty first made famous by Louis Cartier, platinum had been ignored by a jewelry establishment that was increasingly focused on mass production.

Although a softer metal, platinum is far more dense and durable than gold.  As a result, working with platinum requires far more skill, time and effort.  By the end of the decade, Michael turned platinum into a household name with an array of innovative and spectacular designs.  Michael was also the first to implement Micro Pave’ an intricate and painstaking, yet elegant method of setting ultra-miniature diamonds to lend a more delicate ambience to the center stone than had ever been achieved.

Michael was also first to focus not just on the outside of the ring but on the bottom and inside as well.  He began incorporating his logo into the back of each piece and eliminated unsightly holes inside the ring.  His look was bold, solid and unmistakably Michael B.

With the introduction of the Trois Collection, Michael set another trend by incorporating a matching band on each side of the engagement ring.  The result is an unsurpassed level of balance and symmetry now featured in his other award-winning bridal collections.

While many top name designers manufacture their product overseas to cut costs and increase profits, Michael B jewelry is manufactured in Studio City, California where quality and service remain top priorities.

Michael Bondanza

Michael Bondanza is a gifted designer with a passion for art and jewelry. His jewelry career began in the early 70’s with his desire to create a western style belt buckle for himself. Native American images set him on his first path. However, with his growing mastery of technique, a more personal sense of design began to evolve. Michael became increasingly aware of the quality of craft and the level of design he wanted to aspire to. His two favorite designers were Georg Jensen and the early work of Cartier.

Michael started experimenting in sterling silver, 18kt gold, and rosewood. The response to his work was tremendous, and the enthusiasm for his creativity and uniqueness encouraged him to begin experimenting with platinum. His innovative designs and imaginative concepts, along with the complex combinations of platinum and 18kt gold attracted the most distinguishable retailers in the fine jewelry business.

As demand for his designs grew, Bondanza decided to expand his business. In 1974, the designer began selling his jewelry to some Fifth Avenue’s finest retailers. Michael registered his trademark "Platinum Redefined" as he continued to use platinum as his canvas in a new way, and as his designs became more of a personal vision expressed through the art of jewelry. "It takes at least ten years to get grounded, to gain enough skill and experience to begin to tackle something with real meaning".

Over the years, Michael has won numerous international awards for his creative use of platinum, and his designs have won him notoriety amongst the designer community. He has received many prestigious honors for his work, and has been witness to continual success.

Peter Storm

For Peter, designing jewelry is a science that has transcended into an art. Peter has been designing jewelry for the last 25 years, and it is something he enjoys to this day. Peter has a bright and inquisitive mind that gives him that special ability to turn an ordinary ring into something truly spectacular. Peter’s newest collection is based on traditional engagement rings. What makes these rings remarkable is in the tiny details. One of the constant themes in the Peter Storm collections is open space. Everyone wants a piece of jewelry that is dramatic. Peter has a keen eye for line and details and realized that open space, the pause between the diamonds and the skin, allows each diamond to showcase its individual sparkle.

Simon G

When it comes to making beautiful jewelry, no detail is too small to be ignored.

 So we don't.

It all starts with the first sketch. That's followed by dozens of others until a design is approved. From there, we make a CAD model to see the piece in 3D. In this phase, endless hours are spent reviewing every aspect, from the stones to the settings, until everyone agrees it's right.

And that's just the beginning. As the piece goes from drawing to reality, we maintain ten quality control stations, one after each phase of manufacturing. Simon alloys his own metals, working in 18k platinum and palladium or platinum and iridium. This gives pieces greater durability and longevity, and is ideal for the complicated beadwork, filigree and engraving that acheives our signature look. If he's working in white gold, Simon also allows it with palladium, which minimizes the allergy to white gold and helps it to stay white longer.

All micro-set diamonds are hand set, and then inspected by an experienced artisan using a microscope. This ensures that they reflect light brilliantly, and that no one has to w orry about losing a single stone. We even have specialists within our specialists, as some diamond-setters only work on the pavé settings, others on the channel-settings, and still others on the prongs. Not to be outdone, their colleagues doing the filigree, beading mil grain and engravings also work by hand, so each detail is sharper and every pieces has its own unique look and feel.

After all this is done, a piece still makes one more trip through quality control and hand-machine polishing before it can be worn. This may seem a little lengthy, but as we see it, making an heirloom takes a little bit longer than just making jewelry.

Vatche

Vatche has always had an overwhelming passion for design since the early age of 14 as he was captivated by a master jeweler working his unique and timeless skills combining fire and precious metals.  This particular time unbeknownst to Vatche would soon become his life's work.

Shortly thereafter, he had taken an apprenticeship to that very same master jeweler as he began learning every technique in jewelry fabrication; from the cutting of rough diamonds, the forming of precious metals into unique works of art and exquisite finishing which has become the Vatche namesake.

By the age of 18 he had already attained years of experience in the fine art of jewelry manufacturing and design as he was then hired by one of the world's most prestigious jewelry manufacturers where he dedicated the next 2 years of his life perfecting his designing skills.

By 1988 Vatche established the Eclipse Jewelry Corporation, which was created with visions that reflected his passions and philosophies of how jewelry should be manufactured as timeless classics to be adored from generation to generation.

Today, Vatche has become a much respected designer in the jewelry industry. His entire staff of jewelers are personally interviewed and trained by Vatche himself to assure his customers the very finest product attainable in the jewelry which has become known as the “Vatche” standard.

Whether he is designing a one of a kind masterpiece or creating a new addition to his already expansive collection, you can find the heart and soul of Vatche’s passion in every piece of jewelry he manufactures.
